 • • STATEMENT • • The Board of Trustees and Directors of Grumpy regret to inform our friends and members that on Friday 18th February 2011, Grumpy's centre in Blackpool will close it's doors. We have not been able to secure revenue funds to sustain this project in the current climate of economic uncertainty. Members can continue to access all services from our Manchester and Salford Centres, which are not affected by this decision. Grumpy will continue to support play and creative training and workshops for the local communities across Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us, and although we will not have a physical presence in Blackpool, we hope we can continue to work in partnership with you for the benefit of children and young people. |
