Recycled Scrap
Waste Warehouse
Generally known as scrapstores, there are many similar facilities operated by voluntary organisations throughout the UK – Grumpy’s scrapstore is branded as Waste Warehouse to distinguish it from the broad range of additional core services for which the organisation is widely known. The Waste Warehouse is Grumpy’s principal charitable service. Hundreds of thousands of children and young people throughout the UK enjoy countless hours of creative fun and learning through the application of waste materials acquired from Grumpy.
If you know of a business that would like to put its waste materials to creative use for the benefit of children and young people, contact:
Frank Royle on 0161 223 9730. If you’re not sure whether the waste is suitable for children’s play, contact us and we’ll be happy to advise. Grumpy usually collects the materials, but we can just as easily receive delivery.
