‘I Play’ is a joint project working with the Social Media Centre. We will record the experiences of young and old people, to generate more discussion of memories of play activities and observations of how young people play now.
- What do you remember about playing when you were young?
- What games did you / do you play?
- What street games can you remember?
- Where did /do you play?
- Did / do you get in trouble for playing? What are the barriers to playing?
Interested? If you want to take part in this project to help us to record your memories and photographs please get in touch.

facilities operated
by voluntary organisations throughout the UK – Grumpy scrapstore is branded as Waste Warehouse to distinguish it from the broad range of additional core services for which the organisation is widely known. Hundreds of thousands of children and young people throughout the UK enjoy countless hours of creative fun and learning through the application of waste materials acquired from Grumpy.
