Grumpy Warehouses are filled with recycled scrap and reusable material for every imaginable use in play, education and creativity.

Waste Warehouse

Generally known as scrapstores, there are many similar facilities operated by voluntary organisations throughout the UK – Grumpy’s scrapstores are branded as Waste Warehouses to distinguish it from the broad range of additional core services for which the organisation is widely known. The Waste Warehouses are Grumpy’s principal charitable service. Hundreds of thousands of children and young people throughout the UK enjoy countless hours of creative fun and learning through the application of waste materials acquired from Grumpy.

If you know of a business that would like to put its waste materials to creative use for the benefit of children and young people, contact: Frank Royle on 0161 223 9730. If you’re not sure whether the waste is suitable for children’s play, contact us and we’ll be happy to advise. Grumpy usually collects the materials, but we can just as easily receive delivery.
